How the Tracky system works
Tracky splits into two parts — a reusable transmitter you keep, and a sensor you replace every fortnight. That split is what keeps the running cost down.
Rechargeable, and it lasts two years
The Tracky transmitter is the reusable half of the system. It clips onto each new sensor, recharges instead of being thrown away, and carries a two-year warranty — so the ongoing cost of monitoring is just the sensor. A full charge covers a complete 14-day sensor cycle, and it tops up quickly between wears.

Each sensor runs a full 14 days and reads interstitial glucose every three minutes across a 30.63–500 mg/dL range — wide enough to stay useful at both ends. It is factory calibrated, so there is no finger-prick calibration routine to keep up with, and the applicator has a safety lock so it cannot fire before you are ready.
